To facilitate the installation of RUT240 / RUT950 and RUT955 in an industrial environment, this smart enclosure can save valuable time. The enclosure, which can also be customized upon request, contains everything you need if you are looking for a flexible, waterproof and robust enclosure for your router. Note that the router is not included in the package.

Robust enclosure for routers
The enclosure is made of polycarbonate that provides good protection and is both water tight and dust- and impact-resistant. The device box is IP65 rated and is suitable for most industrial environments. The front face of the box can be used for applying your logo or marking. A basic plastic hinge for the lid is also included in the delivery.
Industrial enclosure for Teltonika’s routers
In the enclosure we have a DIN rail mount, on this rail there is an industrial power supply attached. On the DIN-rail there is also a ground terminal for the 230 VAC power cable. The power cable is strain relieved and sealed by an IP65 rated power gland. The router can be mounted on the DIN rail and the kit comes with a plastic DIN bracket for Teltonika’s routers, it is the only part that you need to attach to the router yourself.
Integrated antennas
In the enclosure there are two 4G antennas and one wifi antenna. If you use RUT950 or RUT955, you can choose to use only one wifi antenna or supplement with another antenna if you want two wifi antennas. The correct antenna can be ordered below.
Prepared for Network Cables
At the bottom of the enclosure you will also find an M25 cable gland with four entries that are plugged. These can be used to pull through up to four network cables or other types of cables. By unscrewing the nut on the connection, you can easily remove the red plugs that are there as a seal, the cable is inserted from the side of the bushing, then everything can be tightened again and the bushing becomes waterproof.
Durable cable
The enclosure comes with a grounded power cable with a CEE 7/7 connector. This cable can handle industrial environments. The cable is a 2 meter RDOE cable that is oil resistant and can be used in dry, damp and wet rooms. It has good flexibility in the cold and is weather resistant. When installing outdoors, it is good if the cable is provided with UV protection in the form of a tube or hose if it is highly exposed to sunlight. The enclosure can handle a temperature range of -30 to + 70°C continuosly, which is determined by the temperature range of the power supply.
Condensation
There are different ideas on how to deal with condensation in this type of enclosures. For those of you who want a pressure equalization element to ”air out” the enclosure, we can supply an extra element that can be installed either by you or us.
